Why We Use Google Search Console
How NF Digital uses Google Search Console to understand search visibility, indexing problems and content opportunities.

Introduction
Google Search Console is one of the first places we look when a website needs better visibility. It shows how Google is actually reading the site, not how we hope it is reading it.
Why we use it
We use it because it gives direct evidence: queries, pages, impressions, clicks, indexing issues and technical warnings. It is not a full SEO strategy, but it is one of the best starting points for deciding what needs attention.
Where it fits in our workflow
- Check whether important pages are indexed.
- Review search queries that already create impressions.
- Find pages that have visibility but weak click-through rates.
- Track technical issues that affect crawling and indexing.
- Use real search data to plan content improvements.
Strengths
- First-party data from Google.
- Useful for technical checks and content planning.
- Good evidence for client reporting.
- Shows what is already working before new work begins.
Limitations
- It does not show every ranking factor.
- Data can be delayed or sampled.
- It needs interpretation; numbers alone do not explain the business problem.
When we recommend it
We recommend it for every SEO-led website, especially businesses investing in content, local visibility or ongoing technical improvement.
When we don’t
We do not treat it as a complete SEO tool. If the site has no clear offer, weak pages or poor tracking, Search Console will only confirm that deeper work is needed.
